A Note from John Wills, Missions Director
Dear CF Family,
We are excited to use this quarterly publication to tell the stories of how Champion Forest is advancing the kingdom through missions. We pray that these regular updates communicate, inform, inspire, and maybe even touch your heart to find your “sweet spot” to serve locally, nationally, and globally.
We are grateful beyond words for your generosity and service, and we pray that God will continue to send our church out to serve locally, to serve on short-term mission trips, and, for some, to serve in full-time, vocational missions.
Bless you,
John Wills
Missions Pastor

International Friendship
Did You Know… International Friendship is a longstanding missions ministry at Champion Forest designed to connect students to God, the Bible, christians, and the church through ESL classes. Currently, over 526 students from over 32 countries are registered for ESL classes at Champion Forest. God is bringing the nations to us.
I.F. is currently in need of volunteers. There are many volunteer positions available. You don’t need to be an English expert, but you must be open to learning about and understanding various cultures. International Friendship classes are offered on Thursday mornings from 9-12. Please contact our director Jacqualine Davidson at jrdavidson013@gmail.com for more information. We eagerly anticipate serving alongside you!

Church Plants
Did you know… Since April 2021, Champion Forest has partnered with the North American Mission Board, The SEND Church Planting Network, SALT Company, and the Strategic Launch Network to plant 15 English churches and 21 Bi-lingual churches worldwide. All glory to God!
Generosity
During last year’s World Missions Offering, you gave…
- $231,116 to the IMB Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. This offering directly supports missionaries on the field.
- $70,035 to the North American Mission Board
- $63,032 to UBA/TEBA
- $28,014 to SBTC
- $246,524 to local, national, and international church planting efforts
- $30,816 to the CF Community Ministry Center
- $30,816 to Discretionary and Emergency Funding
In total, you gave $700,353 toward Advancing the Kingdom!
Additionally, you have given over $893,000 directly to the Cooperative Program in the last two years.
We believe in partnership because we can accomplish much more as Southern Baptists when we work together!
School Partnerships
On the evening of December 7th, about twenty volunteers from Champion Forest made the quick journey down the road to Reynolds Elementary, one of our Spring ISD partner schools. These volunteers hosted a huge Christmas party at the school, complete with snow, crafts that told the story of Jesus, and games that brought families together. Over 200 families from the school not only had a wonderful time but got to see a church in their backyard love them enough to put on an event with excellence. Most of all, they saw Jesus on display!
This story is just one of many that have happened over the last few months as we have seen the Lord open up the mission field of our local schools in Klein, Spring, and Cy-Fair ISDs. We have over 15 local school partners across our three Champion Forest campuses. The Lord is demonstrating his gospel through our people in powerful ways, and we are seeing fruit as families show up at our church on Sunday because they saw how well we loved their kids throughout the week!
There are many great ways to find your “sweet spot,” as the Lord uses Champion Forest to build his kingdom in our area.
What could you do with 30 minutes? Join a group that helps pack the 1000+ weekend food bags that we are providing for kids who have to go home hungry.
45 Minutes? Join other CF members on weekday lunch breaks as they share biblical principles with a small group of kids.
One hour? Help host a family game night that strengthens school families by giving them activities to do together.
There are countless small ways to make a great impact in the lives of teachers and students. There is a thriving and diverse mission field just down the road from you, and we can’t wait to help you find your way to make an eternal impact! To get involved, contact missions@championforest.org.
Care Net Pregnancy Center
Because of your generosity and the faithful servants who make up our Missions Committee, Champion Forest played a significant role in opening Care Net NE in Humble, TX. Champion Forest is honored to partner with 3 Care Net Pregnancy Center locations: Care Net Champions, Care Net Cypress, and Care Net NE.
Last year alone, Care Net provided godly counsel to over 2,100 women and 320 dads at the Champions and Cypress locations! Over 1,200 indivdiuals saw their babies via ultrasound, and 171 moms and dads became new believers in Jesus.
Since opening in January 2024, the Care Net NE location has counseled 100 clients (96 mothers and four fathers). 75% of these clients were “abortion-minded” or “undecided” about abortion. Twenty clients have professed faith in Jesus at the NE location.
