Psalm 14:1-7
The Fool Says, There Is No God
To the choirmaster. Of David.
14 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds;
there is none who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man,
to see if there are any who understand,
who seek after God.
3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers
who eat up my people as they eat bread
and do not call upon the Lord?
5 There they are in great terror,
for God is with the generation of the righteous.
6 You would shame the plans of the poor,
but the Lord is his refuge.
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people,
let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

The heavens declare the glory of God….the firmament shows His handiwork. He has given each of us a conscience. He speaks to us, in these last days, through His Son as recorded in the Holy Scriptures. He sends His followers out to take His message to the lost. To our unbelieving friends, we implore you not to close your eyes and/or nor to harden your hearts against the Word that will save your from your sins and make you a son of God. Praise His Name!
The Lord is my refuge…
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
Oh that all the those who dwell on the earth would acknowledge Jesus as the Savior sent from God!
“You would shame the plans of the poor,
but the Lord is his refuge”
That reminds me of Paul’s writing in 1 Corinthians 1:26 “Not many wise…”
God often chooses the poor and the foolish to be rich in faith. Its much easier to rely on God when you feel like you have no other choice. I wonder if God uses that as a test, and then as your faith increases, God gives you things to test and strengthen your faith. We are all born into different homes, but we all have the same potential for faith in God.
Thank you Jesus for being my God who takes away the sins of his people. There is a God who loves and cares for the world. Surrender your heart to him today.

Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and grace, Your long suffering with us to redeem us , such totally depraved people! None doing good, not even one! But You chose us out of the world to be Your own and drew us to Yourself to redeem us. We live and walk by faith in this God-rejecting world with You as our refuge and strength and with a mission to share the love of Christ our Lord and Savior with all we can while we can, knowing You are at work still, offering life and forgiveness to man. May we be faithful.
“For God is with the generation of the righteous.”
The fool says there is no God, but God is with righteous. Lord, help us to be wise, and live according to your ways. That others would see you and come to know you.

This song/poem speaks of the morally deficient people and the misery of their evildoing…a good old tearjerker modern day country western song could be written about these verses…and probably be a national hit. God is faithful to be ready to pick us up, even after we choose bad things for ourselves.
The wise believe there is a God and try to please Him.
Lord thank you for being our restorer and our refuge! Amen
If you go outside and see the beautiful things that were intricately designed, how could you not believe in God. When you see birth, how could you not believe in God. The Creator of all!
If it had not been for GRACE; our only hope is the GRACE of GOD & the redemption that is in our LORD, JESUS CHRIST. A quote from Dr. Tony Evans; “while we are hooking & crooking, GOD is looking & booking.” Evil will not last forever. Praise GOD that HE is our refuse in times of trouble.
I pray for the remnant of believers in the Lord.
That we would be faithful, strong and courageous.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all!! Psalm 34:19

Be encouraged ❤️ The Lord fights for us, we only need to be still (Exodus 14:14; other translations: stay calm, be silent, hold your peace… ) The battle is His and He has the victory. 🙌🙌
How blessed I am to have a Creator God Who planned me, Who made me, Who knows all about me, Who loves me….no matter what!…. and Who has made a way for my salvation!
