The Man of Lawlessness

2 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

    Help me to make time to study Your Word and to learn your way and your will.
    Please protect the people of Ukraine, remove Mr. Putin from power and stop the war and the killing.

    Help our nation to do more to help the people of the Ukraine.

      Dear Father, please come quickly…please end all the suffering, pain and lawlessness.

      Dear Father, as we pray, meditate, mourn and ultimately rejoice…oh, please forgive us for putting our dear Savior up on that cross… Thank You Jesus for finishing Your race for the benefit of mankind…

      May we all look forward to that moment when “joy comes in the morning”, Easter morning!

  6. Bankers learn to identify counterfeit money by studying the real thing. We don’t need to know every religion in the world, all we need to know is Christianity. Rebellion against GOD leads to lawlessness, lies, false teaching & leaders. Thank GOD for the “Restrainer” (the Holy Spirit) working through the Church & in individuals who has excepted CHRIST as their personal LORD & SAVIOR. The Holy Spirit is like a dam to hold back the full blows of evil until GOD removes HIS Church out of the world at the Rapture. The Word of GOD is Truth, but when we reject the Truth, we invite lies in our lives. The only way to Heaven is through GOD’s way, “JESUS CHRIST.” Those who believe anything else is condemned. So don’t be deceived, know Christ & be known by CHRIST. To HIM be glory

  8. There are so many false prophets today teaching the unbelievers to deny the one true God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED, so that we will not be deceived by the evil ones.

    Is your Son on His horse? Has He drawn His sword? Has the trumpeter placed the trumpet to his lips? Has he drawn his breathe?

    Have you, O Father, stood and proclaimed, Not Yet. There are more souls to be saved….

    Let us be busy telling the good news…while there is still time.

  10. Heavenly Father,
    Thank you for dying on the cross for the entire world, for your love, mercy and grace that you continue to gives us during these tumultuous days. Although, we don’t like what is happening but we do know that your word is true and you are still in control. Give us the strength to endure the lawlessness that is happening around the world and continue to use all the true believers in you to get your message to others. The good news needs to be shared more now than ever,; so please give us the boldness and voice to speak up about the living Christ. I pray these things in Jesus name. Amen
