This is a wonderful Psalm of praise & is a great example of how much God loves us & how he will rescue us as we cry out to Him!
We are encouraged to give praise and thanksgiving to God no matter our circumstances. We are all facing difficult times, so I wonder as you made it through your day yesterday, if God’s praise was continually on your lips?
With so many distractions around us, praising God is often the last thing we think about. Life is hard…and sometimes scary. That’s why the last verse in this passage is helpful. The world we live in will try to get you to look everywhere else except to Him, but no matter what you are facing right now, seek the Lord and He will answer and deliver you from all your fears!
Vs 17 says, “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Call out to Him, bless Him, and make it a point today to allow HIS praise to be continually in your mouth!
Psalm 34
Taste and See That the Lord Is Good
Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.
1 I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints,
for those who fear him have no lack!
10 The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
11 Come, O children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is there who desires life
and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones;
not one of them is broken.
21 Affliction will slay the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, that I can praise you in any and all situations. Thank you that, when I seek you, you answer me and deliver me from all of my fears! Father, thank you that you provide for me; you care for me and you always take care of all my needs!
I will cry out to you in praise because I know that you hear me & will comfort my broken heart!
On this Natuinal Day of Prayer, we seek you, O Lord. Visit us with your Spirit, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought. Draw us to your throne of grace so that we need not fear your throne of judgement. Lord, give us a spirit of repentance before you, and strip away any vestige of self righteousness. Forgive us for seeking our own comfort and convenience over your kingdom. Lord, send a revival and let it begin with me.
Lord, we have tasted and seen that You are good. On this National Day of Prayer we pray that our Nation will taste and see that You are good and that our Nation will fear You and revere Your holy Name. Bring renewal and revival and a great awakening O Lord!
As Billy Graham once prayed “Do it again LORD, do it again!”

Dear Heavenly Father,
As a teacher, I have taught my little students to “be careful little eyes what you see, hear and speak for the Lord up above is looking down with love”. We all need to be mindful of this and want to be ever pleasing to God. We forget, in our sorrows ,when we cry out, He is still looking down with love. It is so comforting to know that His arms are around me in my deepest valleys of life as well as when I am on the highest mountains. Please forgive me, Lord, when I have not given you the praise and honor You so richly deserve.I want to have your name on my lips at all times. So when I begin to slip and fall, I will cry out to You and You will hear and save me from my fall. On this National Day of Prayer, please hear our hearts as we cry out to You, Lord, to save our nation and its people. Also please open our ears so we can be careful to hear what You desire of us. For You, Lord are to be praised from the mountain tops to the valkeys and beyond. Thank you, thank you for loving me. In the name, above all names , the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Father, as America awakens this day give each a glimpse of your power and glory and may each see you through spiritual eyes. As our leaders lead this day may they serve you in all they do. Protect us from the evil that abounds that is destroying the soul of our nation and the souls of its people. Oh, Father, send the comforter to each as they cry out to you. May praises be on our lips forever and forever. Amen
Dear Lord,
We come before You this morning lifting up our nation and our leaders. We are praying for restoration and healing of our land and asking for the Holy Spirit to come — Come fill Your people today that we may be be so filled with Your power and presence that our lips will not be able to contain our praises for You, Lord — all the day long, boasting in You.
You hear, rescue, protect and redeem.
We exalt Your name this morning. You are worthy of all our praise, honor and glory!
Amen and amen.
Oh Father how we lift up our eyes to you and say Holy Holy Holy. Send Your Spirit to open our eyes ears and hearts to You. Revive us with Your Breath. May Your people repent and turn back to You and may the lost be found and join Your body. Use me Lord. You are my Savior. And on this National day of prayer I pray that our leaders will seek Your face and come to fear You in every decision they make. Bring truth and justice back to our land. Lord forgive me as a sinner and thank you thank you for Your love for us. In Jesus Name Amen.
Father heal our nation and hear our prayers and forgive our sins. Amen
2 Chronicles 7:14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Called, will humble, pray, seek, turn!
HEAR, WILL FORGIVE, HEAL!
Lord, let this be our plan today. We know You will do what You promise. Let every Christian today do what You call us to do.
I will bless the Lord at all times. His praises will continually be on my lips. I will seek Him and He will answer me and deliver me from all my fears.
We praise you LORD you are a great and glorious FATHER we turn to you on this national day of Prayer with a heart that will follow 2Chron 7:14 and we that you will bring Revival and Awakening to our great nation starting with me Amen and Amen in the name of JESUS CHRIST
Lord, On this day of prayer may your people exalt your name. Help me to continue to praise your name!?
Dear Lord,
As I awake today, I awake with thanksgiving for another day of life. Not taking for granted this precious gift. Father thank you for your love and protection even when I do not deserve it. Even when I see myself as filthy rags, you see me as one of your children. The world is at a pause right now as you have frustrated the purposes of man to reset our minds on what are truly important trusting in you. On this national prayer day, father I ask that your people humble themselves before you mighty name, and pray, turn from what have done our wicked ways, and repent. Then we will t truly hear from you, and you will heal our land. I pray our leaders today truly tune into you today and use this as a platform for self praise. We need them to truly seek guidance from above to direct this nation in this time of need.
I ask for a spiritual revival to take today as we turn to prayer today. May the blessed and mighty name of the Lord be lifted and exalted all over the today showering your spirit over everyone. So we all may taste and see that the Lord is good!
We can and we must change and follow you. Today let stand together with the heaven and give you praise, oh mighty God! One nation, one people, one praise! I love, I love you, and lift you today.

Heavenly Father,
I give You all glory, honor and praise that You have blessed me with today to worship You, Father God.
I thank you, my Lord that I can cry out to You in prayer when I don’t understand why I go through or see circumstances I face. But, one thing I know for sure is that You love me and protect me, always.
I pray today on National Day of Prayer, that the lost people will seek and feel Your presence to accept You as their Lord and Savior, also to learn there is no other God but You, Lord. May those who have walked away from You repent and return to You, Heavenly Father.
And may, I always praise You as it is written on verse….. 1 I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth

Oh Father, thank You for being there…waiting for me as I sought You out and delivering me from my afflictions. Thank You for Your peace which come from my trust in You.
Heal our broken world Father…we can’t, but You can. Shower Your peace on all Your creation.

Oh magnify the Lord! Let us exalt His name together! Let His name be lifted high! So glad to know worship songs from scripture! We can sing in our cells just like Paul. We may have trials, but we have God! Lord, hear our cries for healing our land. Bind Satan from anymore destruction. Let your people turn back to you! Help us to always to sing your praises!! I choose this day to lift you high!
Father, my heart is stirred with the reminder to give You the praise You so richly deserve. As we honor You on this National Day of Prayer and hopefully fill our hearts with Your praise, help us not to be so consumed with simply telling you how we know we have sinned against You and need Your forgiveness but I pray that we may spend time LISTENING to You and humbly waiting to hear from You! Please help me get out of the way on my agenda and listen to the plans and thoughts You have for me! We love You, Lord!
The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Lord, thank you for providing refuge from everything that is coming my way! Your strength and wisdom is over every situation we are facing, individually and as a nation and world. Thank you that we can come to you at any time to give you praise and seek your wisdom! Help me to remember in the stressful moments when I don’t know what to do, that I can simply trust in You to protect me and guide me.
Dear Heavenly Father,

Our hearts overflow with gratitude dear Lord. Only you can save.
You are who you say you are. Lord we have tasted and you are more than good.
Who is like unto you. Who remembers His children to go before them and behind them, to lead them out into good pasture, to heal and to comfort to provide and to chide , to forgive and to wait and to patiently lovingly help us grow out of our sinful selves to a people more and more like you. Father we await the revealing of the sons of God, the things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard of, the things that you have prepared for your beloved.
Dear Jesus Thank you for going through with Calvary for the joy set before you really was ours. We love you back and may all honor all praise all glory and worship and adoration. Belong to only you Holy righteous lamb of God that took upon Himself alone the sins of the whole world. How we all wish and yearn for them to know just what you have done. To agree to taste and see just how good you are. Thank you again and again dear Lord King of the world. Amen.!!!
7 The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Thank You Lord for Your promises to Your children. You give us mercy on top of mercy. I pray that our live and our countenance will be a living testimony to You. Lord we need Your strength to be all You want us to be. Our trust is in You.
I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips!
I truly believe what we are currently experiencing is a divine disruption from our Heavenly Father who is working to get our attention and on this
National Day of Prayer, I also pray:
2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Lord, thank you for being better to me, than I deserve. Thank you for making me your temple to reside i. Fill me with your Spirit, empower me to do what you will, that your blessings toward me would overflow onto my wife, children, neighbors, parents, siblings, and those I serve. Help me resist the temptations to not trust you, to trust myself and to not be satisfied with your provision. Instead, I expect to experience the abundant life you have planned for me today.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you when I am in the valley and thank you when I am on top of the mountain as I know that you are with me always and I will praise you always. Thank you as we are dealing with the unknown of this virus but it is not unknown to you. Thank you for allowing me to hear a sermon by Charles Stanley years ago to start a thank you jar that allowed me to be thankful each and everyday as I write out my thank you notes to you.
Jesus, there aren’t enough words to express how much I love you, praise you and so very thankful of how you have blessed me, my family, friends and this world. We are nothing without you.
Please continue to remind us all of your unconditional love and grace that we don’t deserve but it is given freely to all. In Jesus name I pray.

Thank you for looking upon the righteous and being attentive to our prayers. I pray our hearts and our prayers be in alignment with your will.

The Message
I praise you Lord for the love , the praises you given us, the needs you have provided to me and my family. May our focus be on you today and each and every day.
Lord I bless Your Name! I Worship You and give You Praise all the days of my life! Thank You for another wonderful day, You have given us Your grace n mercy. I pray for the whole earth that everyone will feel Your embrace at this time of difficulty. Father Your love is the greatest!
I thank you Lord that we can rest in you. I thank you for Psalm 34:17 &18. I pray that this pandemic has maybe woke some people up, that you are God. I too pray that this begins a national revival and as Billy Graham said “do it again, Lord do it again”.
